I registered with Hart Recruitment early in 2016 as I was seeking work after returning back from temporary winter work. I was put in the very capable hands of Leah who lead me comfortably through the registration process. She made me feel extremely at ease, especially with my CV being so messy and long. I told the agency I was solely looking for permanent roles as I was very closed minded about temporary positions, however after a couple of weeks of searching Leah had found me a temporary position at a company in West Bromwich. After only 2 weeks in the role, the company presented a chance for me to apply for a permanent role as of course Leah encouraged, supported and followed my interview process. Now, after only 2 months of working for the company, I am in a permanent, secure role and also applying for a management position. I was made redundant in Dec 2011 from a job that I truly enjoyed. I worked for the same company for 22 years, so you can imagine how upsetting it was to be told that they were downsizing the department I worked in. The thought of Redundancy for the 3rd time in my working career virtually destroyed all my confidence until I was put in touch with Hart Recruitment, after going along for my interview with them I came out feeling so much more positive, as they made me feel so welcome and relaxed, this gave me confidence in knowing that at the age of 42 I still had a chance in getting another job. Being out of work since April 2016, had really got me down and my confidence had dropped. When I eventually had a response back from a possible employer i would be rejected for being too experienced or I wasn’t what they were looking for. Hart Recruitment contacted me during the month of July to see if they could help me. I instantly told them my situation and within a few days they had contacted me regarding a position of which I was placed in. Hart provided me with lots of information regarding: how to get to the destination, the different types of transport I could take, the working hours, what the job entailed etc. I had spoken to different colleagues within Hart Recruitment and each one of them were lovely. They were all polite, all helpful and all made me feel at ease. I was instantly made to feel at home in my new position. I was given my own desk and my own nickname! I knew right then I was at “home”. When my first shift was finished I rang Hart Recruitment and told them how much I already loved the job. I now get up with a smile on my face as I travel to work instead of that dreaded feeling of having to spend 9 hours+ on applying for jobs.
