European Head of Retail Operations

  • Possesses extensive experience within the luxury retail sector in retail operations, retail management and supply chain.
  • Retail Operations
    • Coordination, lead and development of the retail operational strategy for Europe
    • Prepare and execute financial budgets for the European retail division
    • Increased P&L (increased profit by €200,000 and loss by €1.5Million) through improving in-store merchandising transfers and strategies
    • Managing a team of 4 retail operations staff
    • Working alongside the buying, merchandising, finance and retail departments

    Retail Management

    • Providing retail management direction to the German market (4 stand-alone boutiques)
    • Liaising with Boutique Directors, providing framework and budget for the buying selection process
    • Management of the recruitment process in the German market across 4 stand-alone boutiques
    • Experienced in using AS400 system

    Supply Chain Planning

    • Responsible for regional collection for the Asian market
    • Travelling to Hong Kong and Bangkok to meet with suppliers
    • Coordinating worldwide and forecasting collections
    • Experienced in using SAP system

    This exclusive candidate is fluent in German and English and is currently on a 3 month notice period. Willing to relocate internationally; my candidate is seeking a salary circa €100,000 per annum.

Head of Visual Merchandising

  • Possesses over 10 years’ experience with creative design, implementation and distribution worldwide within Luxury Fine Jewellery, LRTW, MRTW and Childrenswear.
  • Creative Design
    • Possesses a Diploma in Architecture and Interior Design
    • Planned and implemented annual VM strategy following shop floor walks with Buyers, Store Managers and Merchandisers
    • Created concept direction, window and in-store displays, seasonal displays, Pop Ups, events and promotional material as well as 360 visions for exhibitions globally
    • Received awards following visual merchandising and creative window displays

    Strategic Planning

    • Managing and overseeing VM expenses and budgets from £120,000 up to £1.5 million per annum
    • Increasing store sales by 20% – 30% by implementing effective visual merchandising strategies and setting guidelines
    • Devised seasonal planograms, store flips and create styling packs to be implemented across all stores
    • Consistently delivered branded design assets supporting strategic goals of the business, increasing footfall and elevating the overall customer experience

    Operational and Management

    • Proactively managing visual merchandising teams from 2 up to 9 staff
    • Trained area visual merchandising teams and ensuring that guidelines are implemented throughout all stores internationally
    • Project managed all new store openings, visual projects, events and window roll outs
    • Presented visual strategies to the Board of Directors as well as setting visual standards to ensure the brand integrity and identity was reflected through visual merchandising

    This candidate is available immediately following a fixed term contract and is willing to relocate internationally. A creative portfolio and references are available upon request; my candidate is currently seeking a salary circa £80k-£90K per annum.
